Monica O’Kelly
B Sc (Hons), Dip Ed, MB Sc, PhD
Dr Monica O'Kelly is Director of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Australia. She is Director of the Australian Institute for Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy and an honorary lecturer in the Department of Psychology, Psychiatry and Psychological Medicine at Monash University.
Monica has trained in Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy at the Albert Ellis Institute in New York and is an Associate Fellow of the Institute. She has also completed the Extramural training program at the Beck Institute in Philadelphia and has published many articles in the area of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
After leaving university, Monica worked as a psychologist with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of government and educational settings before going into private practice. In the thirty years Monica has been working as a psychologist, she has worked with clients suffering a range of problems. Monica enjoys helping people rebuild their lives after trauma, childhood abuse and a variety of anxiety conditions. Monica has particular expertise working with clients suffering sexual problems, work stress and other injuries. Monica sees herself as an emotional coach and enjoys working with competent people who wish to extend themselves.

Dom DiMattia
BA, M Ed, Ed D
Dr DiMattia is a Human Relations Consultant who has been Executive Director and Senior Staff Supervisor at the Albert Ellis Institute. He was previously Vice President of Human Resources for the Fireman Group in New York. He is Professor Emeritus of Counselling and Human Resources at the University of Bridgeport. Dom has co-authored books, written numerous journal articles, and conducted hundreds of workshops and seminars as a corporate consultant and mental health trainer. A member of the American Psychological Association, he has presented papers, lectures, and workshops in Australia, the United States and Europe.

Dr Kathryn Gilson
BSc (Hons), DPsych (Clin)
Kathryn has experience working with children, adolescents, families, couples and adults.
Her areas of interest and experience include depression, anxiety and related disorders, loss and grief, marital, family and relationship problems, children's behaviour difficulties, parenting, eating and weight control problems, confidence, skills training and personal growth. She also enjoys working with people who seek to make their good lives even better.

Joanne Griffith
Dip. App.Sc., BSc (Hons), D Psych (Clin) candidate
Joanne has been trained in clinical psychology at Monash University. She is
currently finalising her research into the relationship between personality
traits, substance use and criminal offending. She has diverse clinical
experience and enjoys working with clients of various ages, including
children. She has developed a particular interest in the treatment of
anxiety disorders, substance dependence, eating disorders and anger related
issues.

James Collard
BCom, BSc, PGrad Dip Psych, Associate MAPS
James has experience working with people of all ages, both individually and as couples, problems of depression, anxiety disorders, personality disorders and addictive behaviours.
He has experience working with people on relationship issues, behavioural problems, grief and chronic illness management. James has a particular interest in health and well-being,
including the relationship between various aspects of physical health and mental health, and is researching the role of positive illusions in health and well-being.
He is currently undertaking a Doctorate of Psychology (Health).

Tania Pietrzak
BSc, Grad.Dip.Appl.Psych (Counselling), Ph.D., MAPS, CClin, Member A.S.H
Dr Tania Pietrzak is a clinical psychologist at CBT Australia consulting Monday, Wednesday and Friday; she also works in a hospital setting with patients who have digestive health problems. She has more than 10 years experience working with children, adolescents, families and adults. Tania has previously worked in a range of government and educational settings. She has received further psychology training in the USA. She has a specialisation in children's health and well-being, particularly in the early detection of and intervention for severe behaviour disorders. Tania has significant experience running training courses for parents and other mental health clinicians.
She has a PhD in the area of early intervention for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and parent stress outcomes. Her area of interest and experience includes women's health, sexual health, promoting personal, emotional and spiritual growth, positive psychology, social skills training, depression and anxiety.

Robyn Spark
B. App. Sci (Hons), M. Psych, MAPS
Robyn has had training and experience working with children, adults, and
small groups. She has diverse clinical experience working in the area of
workplace stress and occupational rehabilitation; adjustment to physical
injury/disability; trauma; anxiety disorders; depression; and pain
management. She also has a keen interest in intellectual/ability testing
with children; eating disorders and weight management; conflict resolution;
and assertiveness, motivation and confidence building.

Nicole Besley
BA (Hons). D. Psych (Health), MAPS
Dr Nicole Besley has been trained in clinical health psychology at the University of Melbourne.
She has experience working with adults experiencing a range of mental health issues including depression, anxiety disorders (with a keen interest in post-traumatic stress
disorder), grief and loss, low self-esteem, adjustment issues, and relationship issues.
She also has extensive experience in pain management and chronic health conditions.

Peter M Smith
B Sc (Hons), M Psych (clinical psychology), MAPS
Peter has experience in working with people who are troubled by depression, anxiety, workplace stress, anger, grief and loss, concerning health conditions, and changes in relationships. He has a particular interest in anxiety disorders and in supporting clients in identifying and addressing avoidance behaviours that contribute to and maintain their personal difficulties. This includes experience with helping people to cope with, and reduce, the symptoms of obsessive compulsive disorder, generalised anxiety and post traumatic stress.
He aims to help his clients achieve a more satisfying life, taking into account their own values and goals - assisting them in identifying what they can change, as well as how to cope better with what they can’t.
Peter works with adults and adolescents and is currently consulting from the Mentone practice.
